Reverse osmosis (R/O) is a water treatment process in which water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that has very small holes or pore. Reverse osmosis is used in water desalination. Clean water can pass through and other impurities that are too large to pass through the membrane are left behind and flushed away. Reverse osmosis units must be maintained as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. Typically the activated carbon pre-filters should be changed at least annually.

24-02-2011 - Drive-in Pallet Racking
Drive-in and Drive-through (sometimes spelled Drive-thru) are storage pallets racking configurations that allow the forklift to drive directly into the lane of stacked rows (called a bay). The difference between a drive-in and a drive-thru pallet rack system is simply whether the bays have an entry at only one end, or at both ends. Drive-in rack systems use a common entry and exit, while drive-thru systems have entry points at either end of the bay. Because a drive-in pallets racking system has only one entrance, it uses what is called a LIFO (last in, first out) storage method. With only one entrance, the last pallets racking put into a row is necessarily the first one to be taken out. With a FIFO system, pallets racking are loaded in one end and are pushed back to the other end, where they are then at the front of the row on the opposite side. The first pallet put into such a row is the first one taken out at the other end.
Steel tube is measured using a system known as Nominal Tube Size (NTS). NPS provides the outside diameter of the tube as well as the thickness of the tube walls. For example, a steel tube labeled NPS 14 Schedule 40 means that the tube’s outer diameter is 14 inches (35.56 cm), while its walls are .437 inches (1.11 cm). The value of a tube’s “Schedule” can be found using NPS tables, and the higher the schedule, the thicker the walls of the tube will be. The European equivalent of NPS is known as Nominal Diameter (ND).
Pallet racks are used for warehousing and provide a number of shelves on which goods are stored upon pallets so configured as to accept the forks of a fork lift for easy placement on and removal of the palleted goods from the rack. The repair kit for an industrial pallet rack frame has a front post having an upper end and a lower end, and an intermediate post having an upper end and a lower end.
